I am a Dad.

That means I am a fixit man, chauffeur, and money tree.

I have 4 fabulous kids: Two boys, and two girls. None of them were ever problem children, they are decent, thoughtful people with high moral standards. 

They have won their share of soccer and ballet trophies, brought home report cards made in heaven, and are all well thought of in their schools.

I am very grateful for my kids: they have been a true blessing in my life.

In my younger days, I used to like pulling my car to pieces:  I think I have been inside every part of a car except the steering box and differential.  I helped my best friend pull down and recondition his Ford V8 engine, and at another time, in another car, we stripped down the auto transmission to repair it.   These days I never tinker with cars, having got that out of my system in my youth.   And I have to say, computers have made cars incredibly reliable.   Anyone who owned a dwell-angle meter and tried adjusting the points in an old distributor, or pulled down a carburettor, knows what I mean.

In my time, I have served on church councils, managed my son's soccer team, and taught ballroom dancing.

Indeed, teaching people to dance was one of the most enjoyable things I have done with my life.
